2017-2018 Out-of-District Transportation Applications


If it is your intent to send your child to an out-of-district, non-public school in September 2017 and s/he will require school bus service, this application must be completed and returned by E-mail, fax (937-5871) or mail to the address above by no later than April 1, 2017.

It is imperative that this application be received by April 1, 2017 as required by NY State Education Law and Board of Education policy.  Applications received after April 1, 2017 will not be approved and school bus service will not be provided in the 2017-2018 school year.  Applications for entering kindergartners must be accompanied by a copy of their birth certificate.  Applications submitted for schools located more than 15 miles from the student’s home will not be approved.  Transportation is provided for students in grades K-12 only, in accordance with the Board of Education transportation policy.

All applications will be reviewed and an acknowledgement will be sent noting approval or disapproval.  All eligible students will be routed and bus stop/pick up information will be provided directly from the bus company.  A letter will be sent to you in August with the bus company name and telephone number, as is customary.
