Note to Parents of Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Grade Students: The English Department will distribute books to every student for required reading over the summer. These books must be returned to your child’s English teacher in September upon return to school. Although a reading/reference guide will be provided to guide the reading, there is no required assignment beyond the reading. For students receiving special services, audio tape, VHS, audio CD and DVD versions of the required reading are available. Students will be assessed on their summer reading by their English teachers during the first week back to school on Friday, September 7, 2007.
If for any reason, your child has not received a summer reading book the last week of school, contact either your child’s current English teacher or the Coordinator of English 6-12, Mr. Jon Ambrosio, at jambrosio@blindbrook.org or school extension 3194.
